This is the blog post of the Mississippi Founders Fraternal. We are a group of pastors and lay leaders of Baptist churches who desire to see Baptist rediscover the truths of the Gospel that is commonly referred to as the doctrines of grace, or as the Apostle Paul referred to it as “the election of grace.” Romans 11:5

The picture at the top is of Cole’s Creek in Jefferson County, MS, near the first Baptist Church in Mississippi (1791). It is also the location of the first Christian baptisms that took place in the Spanish controlled territory.
